Difficult Times
During those especially hard times, disobedience to the magisterium of the Holy Father, and doctrinal and practical errors, were widespread. St Josemaria suffered immensely. And his teachings were about faithfulness, love for the Church and hope. He had recourse to prayer and mortification, with hope and optimism, trusting in the action of the Holy Spirit, and he abandoned himself into the hands of God and our Lady.
